Logan County’s most recent casino tax payment totaled $132,843.49, according to the latest figures released by the Ohio Department of Taxation.
That figure represents local tax revenue for the first three months of 2014, and puts the county right in line with estimates from Logan County Commissioners.
Each casino tax distribution is placed into the county’s capital improvements fund, and Commissioners Tony Core, John Bayliss and Dustin Wickersham have estimated about $500,000 will flow into the county from casino taxes.
Logan County received about $540,000 in casino tax revenues last year. It is currently on pace to bring in about $531,000 in 2014.
