Mildred Hendricks, 80, of Marysville, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at the Gables at Green Pastures, Marysville.
Born in East Liberty on April 7, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Paul Franklin and Ilo Idona Wren Clay. She also was preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, George Arthur Hendricks; and eight brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her sons, Rick (Brenda) Hendricks of Dublin and Jeff (Yvonne) Hendricks of Urbana; grandchildren, Shawn Hendricks, Shana (Josh) Hendricks, Rikki (Dylan) Hendricks, Ellen Hendricks, Mary Hendricks, Brian (fianceé Jenny) Yoder, Adam (Sarah) Yoder and Lisa (Jay) Price; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane Keirns of North Lewisburg and Susie (Phil) Peoples of Westerville; and many nieces and nephews.
She retired after 32 years of service with Ray Lewis & Sons Manufacturing.
Mildred was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
An avid bowler, she enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, crafts and reading, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband and family.
Father David Poliafico officiates a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, followed by burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Mannasmith Funeral Home in Marysville, followed by a Rosary service.
