Two sentenced to local jail

Two defendants were sentenced to local jail in other cases handled this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court.

David Frazier, 28, of West Mansfield, was sentenced to 20 days in the Logan County Jail, five years’ community control and ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees for receiving stolen property; and Christopher Lee, 26, of Alger, was sentenced to six months in the Logan County Jail and ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees for aggravated menacing and assault.

Pleading guilty were:

Shannon Zimmerman, 35, at large: two counts of nonsupport of dependents, and was placed on the prosecutor’s pretrial diversion program; and

• Chase Brown, 23, of Bellefontaine: trafficking in drugs. A presentence investigation was ordered and he will be sentenced June 2.
