Willa D. Turner Yoesting Van Natta, 89, formerly of Roundhead, passed away Wednesday evening, April 23, 2014, at Hospitality House, Massillon.
She was born in Grantsville, W.Va., on Aug. 17, 1924, to the late W. Frederick and Bertha McCulty Bennett.
She was also preceded in death by three husbands, Wayne Turner, Edwin Yoesting and Darwin Van Natta; a sister, Arlena Cottrill; brothers, Ernest Bennett and John Bennett; and a son, Willis Turner.
She worked at the Lima Tank Depot during World War II making Westinghouse Flying Tigers motors. She also worked at Diebold, Essex Wire and in various restaurant management and service positions.
She ran an in-home daycare center in Gainesville, Fla., providing care for more than 150 children.
Survivors include three daughters, Joann (Don) Minter of Kenton, Lois (Peter) Goodwin of Troutman, N.C., and Roberta (Les) Ward of Dayton; four sons, Gene (Vivian) Turner of St. Paris, Ron (Karen) Turner of Odum, Ga., Rick Turner of Thornville and Donn (Lynn) Yoesting of Massillon; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pastor Christine Elliott will officiate a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where calling is a half hour prior to the service.
Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
