The Logan County History Center will throw open the doors of its new transportation museum with a weekend slate of events.
Festivities begin with a transportation-themed parade that leaves the Logan County Fairgrounds at 11 a.m. Saturday before making its way north to downtown and continuing east to the 521 Columbus Ave. museum.
The parade will feature A.J. Miller hearses and ambulances from the Professional Car Society, Model T and A club(s), High Wheel bicycles, unicycles, transportation-themed floats, area high school marching bands and much more.
The transportation museum will have its grand opening at the conclusion of the parade and tours will be available of the Logan County History Center including the transportation museum, the Logan County museum, and the 1906 Orr Mansion until 4 p.m.
