A West Liberty man was sentenced to prison this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court for breaking into a family member’s house on separate occasions.
Wade Clem, 31, of West Liberty, was sentenced to four years in prison for burglary.
He pleaded guilty to the charge last month.
The defendant was arrested in September after he burglarized his aunt’s residence at 8053 Township Road 166, West Liberty.
The defendant broke into the victim’s house on two separate occasions, taking cash and assorted loose change.
The first time she discovered her nephew had reportedly burglarized her residence, Anna Clem was willing to settle the matter by working with her family. She pressed charges following the second burglary, according to incident reports.
