Tiger squads win quad meet
West Liberty-Salem’s boys and girls junior high track and field teams recently won a quad meet against Southeastern, Mechanicsburg and Springfield Catholic Central.
Placing first for the Tiger boys were Braden Miller in the high jump and the 400, Levi Moell in the 110 hurdles and the 200, Nick Williams in the 800, the 400 relay of Moell, Miller, Michael Kelly and Garrett Predmore and the 800 relay of Daniel Lehman, Trevor Burden, Ely Serna and Andrew Boyer.
Winning events for the Tiger girls were Janie Kopus in the high jump and the 400, Laine Godwin in the 100 hurdles, Kenedie Cox in the 200, Kaylee Harrison in the 1,600, Sarah Painter in the 800, Lauren Scott in the 200 hurdles, the 400 relay of Tory Cordell, Godwin, Taylor Lauck and Cox, the 800 relay of Rachel McGill, Addy Johnson, Hailey Duncun and Kaeley Lattimer and the 1,600 relay of Painter, Harrison, Kopus and Lauck.
