CBC receives award for donation

Central Buckeye Conference commissioner Mike Ludlow, front center, receives an award from Jaquelyn Lucas-Murphy, left, and Marti Sammons of the First Friday Foundation during a meeting Wednesday, March 4, of the CBC athletic directors. The CBC was honored for its work in raising more than $1,600 for the foundation, which promotes prostate cancer awareness.

First Friday was founded by the late Mike Sammons, who was a football coach and official. Included in the photo are athletic directors Scott Reule of Benjamin Logan, Henry Stolly of Bellefontaine and Rick Blust of Indian Lake.
