A young Benjamin Logan team was rescued by one of its few veterans in a battle Wednesday night against Springfield Shawnee.

Taylor Quay, a senior forward, scored eight of her 14 points in the final four minutes of the game to help the Raiders escape with a 44-40 victory over the visiting Braves in a Central Buckeye Conference crossover matchup.
Quay battled foul trouble all night, but was able to keep herself on the floor for a critical final stretch of the game.
“Taylor made some big shots and hit some big free throws, too,” said Ben Logan head coach Donnie Sosby. “I put her back in at about the four-minute mark and she was a big key for us in the last few minutes.”
