Ridgemont’s boys basketball team fell to visiting Upper Scioto Valley 64-52 on Wednesday in the Gophers’ final regularseason game of the season.

The Gophers end the regular season at 1-19. USV improves to 4-15.

Ridgemont got off to a good start, taking a 21-19 lead at halftime.

However, the Rams grabbed the momentum in the second half.

USV outscored the Gophers 25-12 in the third quarter to take a 44-33 lead. USV stayed in control in the final quarter to wrap up the win.

Shane Moore led the Gophers with a gamehigh 17 points. David Shroyer contributed 10 points, Caleb Scott had seven points and Davonte Ratleff and Jake McFadden each added six points for Ridgemont.

The Gophers open Division IV sectional tournament action at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday against Hardin Northern at Lima Bath.
