Waynesfield-Goshen’s boys basketball team used a big fourth-quarter surge to down host Ridgemont 66-34 Friday in Northwest Central Conference action. The Gophers drop to 1-18 overall and 0-6 in the NWCC, while the Tigers are 5-14, 2-5. W-Goshen led 24-19 at halftime and then outscored the Gophers 42-15 in the second half. Shane Moore and Mason Caldwell each had eight points for Ridgemont and Caleb Scott added six points. The junior varsity score was not available.
