MT. VICTORY — The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Findlay Post has released the identification of the second victim in the Tuesday morning accident north of Mount Victory.
The crash occurred at 5:30 a.m. when a 1996 Chevrolet Silvarado pickup truck was driving south on a private driveway at 19034 Co. Rd. 200. The vehicle continued into a pasture where it struck a large rock and ignited into flames.
The driver, later identified as Michael Fay Jr., 35 of Kenton, was ejected from the truck, but he, and his passenger were both killed in the crash. Friday, the passenger was officially identified as Benjamin D. Fowler, 26, of Kenton. According to a release from the Patrol, the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified Fowler through dental records.
The pickup truck was reported stolen from a repair shop in Kenton.
