Russells Point approves annexation plan

The Russells Point Village Council passed the third and final reading of an ordinance to petition for the annexation of land on the village’s west side.

The land in question is northwest of the corporation limit just past the bend at Paradise Island. Officials said the annexation is needed to “square off” the village boundaries, involves no monetary gain and will remain the responsibility of the State of Ohio.
