Man steals bow, pawns it to buy drugs

Aaron Brock, 29, of 120 Caroline St., was arrested on a warrant for theft and charged with an additional count of theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department investigated the theft of a compound bow Tuesday.

Kyle Bulluck, 700 Garfield Ave., told police the suspect took the bow and pawned it.

The bow was located at Logan Valley Pawn Shop, 217 W. Columbus Ave., where it was pawned for $56.

The defendant was located at his residence and admitted to stealing the bow and pawning it to buy heroin.

He had a tin with a burnt spoon, two hypodermic needles and hemostats.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
