Dozens vie for pageant titles

The Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce stages its annual Miss Indian Lake and related pageants beginning with the Beach Baby and Beach Toddler contests at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, during the all-day Beach Spectacular at Old Field Beach State Park.

Contestants include:

Miss Indian Lake (ages 14-18): Victoria Franks, 17, daughter of Kim and Travis Franks of Huntsville; Darien Falkenberry, 14, daughter of Jenafur Falkenberry of Lakeview; Taylor Nichole Huffman, 16, daughter of John and Kelly Huffman of Russells Point; and Abby Clay, 14, daughter of Tim and Marty Clay of Huntsville.

Jr. Miss Indian Lake (ages 10-13): Hannah Avila, 12, daughter of Jesse and Tammy Avila; Emma Powers, 12, daughter of Rick and Holly Powers; Chace Robinson, 13, daughter of Maria Aldrich and Dan Robinson; Mariah Mathews, 10, daughter of Cory and Melissa Mathews; Tyreasa Draper, 10, daughter of Cory and Melissa Mathews; Krista Varian, 11, daughter of Sam Varian; Kireon Snelling, 12, daughter of Heather Varian; and Lindsey Rachelle Huffman, 12, daughter of John and Kelly Huffman.
