Virginia Denise Collins Fifer

Virginia Denise Collins Fifer, 56, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima.

Virginia was born in Lima on Nov. 23, 1956, to the late Charles and Betty Jean Burkholder Collins.

She is survived by her loving companion of 23 years, John Ball; a sister, Loretta (Gary) Edwards of Lakeview; a brother, Dennis (Cathy) Wright of Indianapolis; three nieces, Leslie, Michelle and Teresa; two nephews, David and Steve; many great nieces and nephews; her stepmother, Imogene (Pearl Oliver) Collins of Lima; two stepbrothers, David Rettig of Lima and Rick Oliver Rettig of New York; and a stepsister, Boneta (Ren) Becker of Toledo.

 Virginia was a homemaker and attended Bath High School. She loved knitting and crocheting, watching movies, talking with friends on Facebook and family gatherings. She was an avid CB operator.

The Rev. Bryan Meadows conduct memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, where visitation begins at 5 p.m.
