West Liberty-Salem had a pair of players named to the first team for the all-Ohio Heritage Conference girls soccer squad this fall.
Representing the Tigers on the first team were seniors Shonda Gieseke and Alandra Cox.
Earning second-team honors for WL-Salem were Maddie Gantz, April Kelley and Melany Ward.
An honorable mention award was given to the Tigers’ Addy Hartsel.
Joining Gieseke and Cox on the first team were Springfield Central Catholic’s Brooke Maletic, Addie Johnson, Emma Felty and Paige Lewis, Northeastern’s Tracy Distl, Megan Simpson and Halle Raines and Greeneview’s Alexandra Rice and Natasha Siebenaler.
Rounding out the second-team selections were Greeneview’s Sidney Test and Christina Roberts, Springfield Catholic Central’s Kalyn Wolfe, Amelia Samuelson and Nick Shouvlin, Southeastern’s Savannah Sullivan and Northeastern’s Christina Norris and Ashley Hamm.
Along with the Tigers’ Hartsel, the honorable mention list included Northeastern’s Maci Dix, SCC’s Molli Skeens, Southeastern’s Lauren Nichols, Greeneview’s Tory Lewis, SCC’s Addie Cain and Southeastern’s Davie Stucky.
