A short-term agreement with a recently displaced not-for-profit corporation that sought an alternative location to prepare hot meals was approved Wednesday by the Ohio Hi-Point Board of Education.
A fire earlier this month at the Liberty Gathering Place, 111 N. Detroit St., West Liberty, left Tri-County Community Action of Logan and Champaign counties without a kitchen to prepare hot meals for its Meals on Wheels program.
Since the March 10 blaze, Tri-County has been preparing cold meals in the absence of a kitchen.
