The farmers’ market commences its 15th season when it opens for the year on Saturday, May 7, in the parking lot across from the Bellefontaine Post Office at the corner of Detroit Street and Chillicothe Avenue.

Consistent growth spanning a decade-and-a-half has prompted the employment of a part-time manager to handle the market’s day-to-day activities. Logan County native Chloe Manor has been tapped to assume those daily responsibilities.

“We really saw a need to bring in a part-time manager that could handle the logistics of making the market go,” farmers’ market founder Jan Dawson said during an informational meeting earlier this month. “If she has any questions or problems she’ll call me, but if (vendors) have any questions or problems (they) should contact Chloe.”
