WL-Salem boys fall in tourney opener to Anna

West Liberty-Salem’s boys basketball team saw only two players score against fourth-seeded Anna Saturday as the Tigers fell 47-35 in a Division III sectional tournament opener at Bellbrook High School.

The Tigers finish the season at 6-15, while the Rockets improve to 15-6.

Anna started with a 15-4 lead after the opening quarter. The Rockets outscored the Tigers 14-8 in the second quarter, which helped them take a 29-12 lead at halftime.
