Search suspended; resumes Tuesday

Monday, investigators from the Ohio BCI&I oversaw an examination of the Rumpke Landfill in Cincinnati. Agents suspended their search today without locating anything of interest. Agents will return and continue in their efforts Tuesday morning.

Investigators continue to encourage rural Logan County residents to check around outbuildings and other structures and immediately report anything they find suspicious or out of place to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office at (937) 592-5731.

The Bellefontaine Police Department and Logan County Sheriff’s Office continue to request public assistance in locating a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, gray/green in color, bearing Ohio license plates PDG13E. This vehicle was last observed in the southbound I-75 rest area in Butler County, Ohio, Wednesday evening at approximately 11:30 pm.

If this vehicle is observed, do not approach. Contact your local law enforcement agency or dial 911.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Samuel Littleton II, age 37, w/m, 5-08, 140, brown hair, blue eyes is asked to contact the BPD at (937) 599-1010.

Law enforcement is asking that anyone who has had personal contact in recent days with Samuel Littleton, to come forward to cooperate in bringing him to justice. Anyone who knows where Samuel Littleton II is should come forward with information. Law enforcement community is prepared to identify anyone who intentionally harbors Littleton in an effort to help him elude apprehension, and bring them to justice as well.
