UPDATE: Missing woman’s body found in her mother’s basement

Overnight, officers and investigators of the Bellefontaine Police Department investigating the disappearance of Tiffany L. Brown located what is believed to be her body in the basement of her mother’s residence on the east side of Bellefontaine.

Next of kin have been notified. Positive identification and the cause of death is pending an autopsy ordered by Logan County Coroner Dr. Michael E. Failor.


A body believed to be that of missing mother Tiffany Brown was found by city police Wednesday evening in the basement of her mother, Deb Neeley’s, 729 Eastern Ave. home.

Wednesday evening, investigators reinterviewing the victim’s mother recognized an article of clothing which appeared to be blood stained, secured the residence, obtained a search warrant and during the course of the detailed search, discovered the hidden body of Tiffany Brown in the basement.

The basement of the residence is an area primarily occupied by Samuel Littleton II, 37, a white male, described as the boyfriend of Tiffany’s mother. He is currently being sought nationwide in conjunction with this investigation as a person of interest.
