Wet conditions postpone local prep contests

Several area baseball and softball games were postponed Thursday because of the cold and wet weather.

Triad’s varsity baseball game at Northeastern was postponed and has been rescheduled for today, while the varsity softball contest between the Cardinals and host Jets has been moved to Wednesday.

Indian Lake’s varsity baseball and softball games at Springfield Shawnee were postponed Thursday and will be played Wednesday.
