Calvary Christian School third-grade student recently went on the Logan County Heritage Tour under the direction of Andrea Graher. Stops on the tour included the Orr Mansion and Logan County Historical Society, Piatt Castle Mac-A-Cheek, Castle Mac-O-Chee, Zane Cabin, Flatwoods School and Campbell Hill. In addition, fourth-graders at the school recently took a trip to Johnston Farms in Piqua. The class learned about life in the early history of Ohio and were able to see a canal system and actually take a ride down the canal. Following the field trip, the pupils completed a writing project relating to early history and transportation.
