Snow emergencies lifted

The snow emergencies in Logan and Champaign counties were lifted Saturday about noon and 8:45 a.m., respectively. More than 100 traffic mishaps — the majority of which were non-injury accidents — have occurred in the two communities since early Friday when the area was hit by a winter storm.
