Product recalls: jackets and baby teethers 01/31/08 The following recalls have been announced: About 14,000 girls hooded jackets, manufactured in Korea and distributed by AJBlue LLC, doing business as Apollo Jeans. The jackets are recalled because they have a drawstring through the hood, which could pose a strangulation or entrapment hazard for children. No injuries have been reported. About 200 sterling silver baby teethers featuring heart and car shapes, manufactured in Mexico and imported by Elegant Baby and Baby Needs Inc., because the heart and car shapes decorating the inside of the teething rings can break off. This poses a choking risk. The company has received one report of a heart breaking off and becoming lodged in a baby's mouth. The teethers were sold at infant clothing boutiques around the country between February 2005 and September 2006.
