With apologies to Penn State, The Ohio State University has for many years staked its claim to the popular moniker “Linebacker U”.
The term is an often argued subject among a handful of college football programs known for producing great linebackers year in and year out. Randy Gradishar, Tom Cousineau, Chris Spielman and A.J. Hawk are just a few of the all-time great OSU linebackers who excelled both in college and in the NFL.
